Onotria is back from the dead. But as with most things that come back from the dead, there’s a catch.
Onotria was a very good Italian restaurant at the corner of Bear and Bristol in Costa Mesa, but chef/owner Massimo Navarretta lost his lease a couple of years ago. The building was demolished, and a parking lot sprang up in its place.
Navarretta didn’t disappear, though. He’s apparently been operating a catering business out of a commercial kitchen on Red Hill Avenue, not far from the former restaurant, in a unit that also includes an event space and private tasting room. Read More...
Kendrick Lamar has announced he is to play a series of live dates across Europe in 2018.
The tour, in support of Lamar’s most recent album ‘DAMN.’, kicks off in Dublin on February 7th before visiting Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, London then heads over to mainland Europe.
All 15 shows on the tour will be supported by Mercury Prize winner James Blake.

The Staircase, a new true crime limited series from HBO, explores the bizarre and horrifying tale of a novelist found guilty of killing his second wife.
The show, which premieres tonight on HBO Max, explores the tale of Kathleen Peterson’s puzzling death in 2001. All eyes were on Kathleen’s husband, Michael Peterson, when she was discovered dead at the bottom of the staircase of her mansion.
